Don’t panic! You’ve discovered the stupid section of my website that’s dedicated to daft stuff that I paint just for the hell of it - an art side quest, if you will!

It all started with a very silly birthday gift for my husband - a double portrait of Bronco and Brutus from much loved film Gentlemen Broncos. I had so much fun painting it but I was also surprised at how much I learned from working from such different subject matter. Not only was it an exercise in joy, but it was also an exercise in the observation of textures and colours that I’m not used to in my other work. So I’ve decided to carry on painting them for the pure fun of it, but also to expand my practice as a whole because as an artist you never stop learning!

These fun pieces are very different from the art you’ll see on the rest of this website so I wanted to keep the two things separate. The art that I’m better known for is an exploration of myself and the human condition - it’s a reflection of my emotional, contemplative side. But I have a very silly side too. As well as being a serious artist, I am also an incredibly unserious, joy-seeking idiot who loves dancing in the front row, making ridiculous fancy dress costumes, consuming silly art and communicating in movie quotes. This side quest is just an extension of all that daft stuff!

No guarantees though - I make these paintings for fun and because the subject matter brings me joy, so if I don’t like the subject I’m probably not going to enjoy painting it! Harry Potter fans prepare for disappointment now - sorry!!

In theory, yes. Each painting is created on an 18×24cm wooden panel then scanned and printed the exact same size onto A4 paper. If I scale them up, it might look a bit odd, but if you really, really want me to and if you ask really, really nicely, I’ll give it a go. If it looks rubbish though, you only have yourself to blame! (I’m kidding, I will blame only myself and cry myself to sleep)

I don’t provide frames for the prints, although these are produced on A4 paper which is a standard size, and so very easy to find a frame for!

If you’d like to purchase an original and want me to frame it for you, I can absolutely make that happen! Get in touch once you’ve made your purchase and I’ll give you a quote for framing costs. These will be made to order, so bear in mind that there will be a wait of a few weeks for this - I am not some sort of instant frame making machine (that would be awful!)

I’m usually able to send stuff out within 3 business days of your order - honestly, it’s usually the next day, but I’m a one woman show so occasionally things get in the way! If there is a significant delay, I’ll get in touch to let you know and beg for forgiveness.

Prints will be sent out via 1st class recorded delivery which should take a day or two, but this can sometimes take a little longer if your local sorting office is having a crisis or something - check the tracking number in the shipping notification I sent you!

Originals will be sent out via Royal Mail Special Delivery - this is a next day service (business days) which usually requires a signature. I tend not to post on Fridays or Saturdays to avoid these precious items hanging around in depots over the weekend! I’ll send you a tracking number so you can follow it along it’s super speedy journey!

Yes! International shipping rates vary from country to country so please contact me to ask for a quote, letting me know which items you’re interested in purchasing.

Unfortunately, due to ridiculous GPSR regulations, I can’t ship prints to the EU. Hopefully the bureaucrats will come to their senses soon and the rules will change in the not so distant future, but for now I can only send original artworks to the EU.
