Since the first accidental Medusa head early on in my 100 heads project, I was keen to explore these snake enveloped heads further. Painted on circular wooden panels in homage to Caravaggio's Medusa (painted onto a wooden shield to represent the one used by Perseus in the Greek myth), these paintings explore the messy exchange between head, heart and guts.

- Original painting. Oil, acrylic and coloured pencil on circular birch plywood panel.

- Diameter 30cm, Depth 6mm

- If you would like me to include an adhesive hook for hanging the panel directly to the wall, just drop me a message with your order number.
